HVACR Suppliers Raise November Prices by 3 to 15 Percent, ACHR News Reports

ACHR News lists 12 manufacturers with November increases, nine of them with disclosed figures. Carrier separately told investors an 8 percent increase takes effect later this quarter.

Key TakeawayDuct and metal products show the steepest disclosed November increases on the ACHR News list. The major equipment makers are not on it, but their own earnings calls point to more increases this quarter and early next year.

Twelve HVACR manufacturers have price increases taking effect this month, with disclosed amounts from 3 percent to 15 percent, according to a list ACHR News published Nov. 4. The figures here are ACHR's. The manufacturer websites checked for this story did not show the notices.

Metal and Duct Products Lead

Duro Dyne has the widest range, 4 percent to 15 percent depending on product category, effective Nov. 1. Lennox names Duro Dyne among its acquisitions in its third-quarter release. Modular Metal Fabricators took 8 percent on metal products and 8.5 percent on aluminum on Nov. 2, after an 8 percent increase on flex duct in July. Southwark and Aire Technologies each went up 8 percent on Nov. 1.

Three companies have no disclosed figure. Parker Hannifin's HVAC Filtration Division and Airzone are listed as to be determined, effective Nov. 16 and Nov. 23. Resideo/Honeywell is listed with an unspecified increase effective Nov. 1, a day after a separate adjustment on Honeywell Home air zoning products that appeared on ACHR's October list.

Equipment Makers Announce Theirs to Investors

Carrier, Trane and Lennox are not on the November list, though each discussed price with analysts last week. Answering a question on residential, Carrier CEO David Gitlin said the company "announced an 8% price increase effective later this quarter" and described actions of up to 10 percent across its Americas portfolio. Trane's residential business put increases into effect in early April and early July. Lennox plans its next one at the beginning of 2027.

Why This Matters to Contractors

Gastite's 6 percent increase on CSST, fittings and accessories takes effect Nov. 23, the latest dated figure on the list, which leaves under three weeks at current prices. OmegaFlex took the same 6 percent on TracPipe on Sept. 1, according to ACHR's September list, so changing CSST brands offers little protection on jobs not yet bought.
